Our 5 year Rye Whiskey patiently aged in whiskey barrels then finished in Rum casks. This unique second finishing provides a discernible rum nose laid over the top of a deep rye character. The nose has lots of rum notes and is fruity with hints of brown sugar and honey over the peppery rye. The taste is more rye forward, spicy and robust with some mild sweetness and notes of stone fruit (cherry, plum.)
