Bananas Foster Old Fashioned

INGREDIENTS: 

  • 1oz Hinterland Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Maple Syrup Barrels
  • 1.5oz Banana Liqueur
  • 0.25oz Rum Chata
  • 0.25oz Maple Syrup
  • Garnish with caramelized banana

PREPARATION: 

  1. To a cocktail mixing glass add one large ice cube and combine Hinterland Bourbon, maple syrup, banana liqueur, and Rum Chata. Use a bar spoon to stir approx 30 times until well mixed.
  2. Strain ingredients into a old fashioned glass over a fresh large ice cube
  3. Slice a banana into large circles (option to leave peel on)
  4. Cover banana slices with sugar and torch until golden brown
  5. Garnish your cocktail with your flambeed banana slices
  6. ENJOY

Hinterland Old Fashioned

INGREDIENTS: 

  • 2oz Hinterland Bourbon Whiskey finished in a maple syrup barrel
  • 0.5oz Real Maple Syrup
  • 5 Dashes of Angostura bitters
  • Orange Peel
  • Luxardo Cherry

PREPARATION: 

  1. Prep your orange peel. Use a veggie peeler or knife to carefully cut a 2- to 3-inch-long piece of orange peel.
  2. To a cocktail mixing glass add one large ice cube and combine Hinterland Bourbon, maple syrup, and bitters. Use a bar spoon to stir approx 30 times until well mixed.
  3. Add a large ice cube to a old fashioned glass and strain your cocktail over the cube
  4. Give your orange peel a good twist to release its oils, then run peel over the rim of the cocktail glass and tuck it into the drink. Garnish with a Luxardo cherry (OPTIONAL)
  5. ENJOY
